What is the difference between a truss roof and a cut roof?

A truss roof uses factory-made triangular trusses that are quick to install. A cut roof is built on site from individual rafters, purlins and ridge boards, giving more usable attic space and flexibility for complex shapes.

Do you build dormer roofs?

Yes. Our carpenters frame dormers and our roofers finish them in slate, tile, zinc, lead or a flat roof system.

Can you replace rotten roof timbers?

Yes. During a survey or refurbishment we identify damaged timbers and our carpenters replace them before the new covering goes on.

Do you work to engineer drawings?

Yes. All structural roof carpentry is built to the architect and engineer specifications for your project.
